This video demonstrates, how Francisco Tárrega's arrangement "Oremus" sounds in the original work written by Robert Schumann, titled as Phantasietanz No. 5 from his Albumblätter Op. 124. There are legends, that Tárrega wrote this piece as a self-obituary, since he knew then, that he will die soon. This is not true. The guitarists play it in a very slow tempo, but Schumann gave a very fast tempo mark to his work.
