Flutist Jan Boland, violinist Miera Kim, guitarist John Dowdall and cellist Carey Bostian of Red Cedar Chamber Music performed the Klezmer tunes Tish Nign & Rushische Sher on October 4, 2015 at First Presbyterian Church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa as part of their Mostly Folk Inspired concert. Mostly Folk Inspired opened Red Cedar Chamber Music's 20th season.

These pieces were adapted for this ensemble by Jan Boland from a recording featuring Klezmer flutist Adrianne Greenbaum. The flute, often included in early Klezmer ensembles, captures both the melancholy and joy of this music and the violin makes a perfect melodic companion.
