'Rossiniana' (Fantasia di Concerto op.131) is one of Carlo Munier's major works for mandolin and guitar. Composers such as Respighi and Giuliani have similarly scored works based on selected musical motifs of Rossini, and the term has also been used to describe collections of his works. Munier's composition here leads the audience through a number of themes and moods before returning to the introduction for the grand finale.
