The titles for these three colourful pieces, La Joia, La Calma (2:52), and La Gaubanca (6:04) translate to Joy, Calm, and Delight. They originally existed as stand-alone works for piano by Valencian composer Vicente Asencio, and made their way to the guitar through a fruitful collaboration between the composer and guitarist Narciso Yepes.
