The piece is originally written for the Harpsichord, but here in an arrangement for solo guitar made by Christophe Dejour. Fantasia: 0.08 Fugue: 7.35 Bach probably composed it during his time in Köthen from 1717 to 1723. The piece was already regarded as a unique masterpiece during his lifetime.
