Judith came all the way from her new home in Basel to record this hauntingly beautiful Fancy by John Dowland with us. Originally for the Lute it is common for guitarists to play with Capo on the 2nd fret to be closer to the original tuning and also to loose some overtones that would make the guitar resonate way more than a Lute. We found a wonderful little Shakespeare theater outside of Berlin to get the perfect setting for this English renaissance music. Look at the paintings on the stage!
