Penny Lane by The Beatles Arranged for guitar by David van Ooijen (2020) #pennylane#thebeatles I played around with the key of this arrangement quite a lot. It modulates between verses and chorusses so it was a bit more complicated to find a good key for guitar. I wanted to incorporate the walking bass, but also the trumpet solo. The walking bass was not a problem, but the trumpet solo ... it's so high and so fast! I could have transposed it down an octave and made a slower summary, but I didn't. So I ended up with something not so easy ... but fun! And if you slow it down a bit, or skip the trumpet solo, it's not that difficult.
