An international project with ten guitarists from different countries, all specialists in early guitars. We perform 'Air Varié et Dialogué' by Antoine de Lhoyer (1768-1852). The piece, from ca. 1800, was originally composed for four guitars. We have edited it so that you always hear and see four players, except for near the end where you will see all of us together. Everything was recorded by the musicians in their homes, on phones, laptops, and real cameras, in the summer of 2020. You will see a great variety of original historical guitars and some beautiful modern replicas of early guitars. All the recordings were edited and compiled by Ben Stuyts and Jelma van Amersfoort.
