This research focuses on the practice of transcription for classical guitar, a musical tradition that has been carried through centuries and is still one of the main sources of present days’ guitar repertoire. Every guitarist is familiar with transcriptions, used as a pedagogical tool for the very first learning stages, as well as a means to expand guitar’s repertoire with notable and challenging pieces.
