During the recording of the album "Seis Caprichos-Spanish guitar music around 1930" released by Passacaille records. "La Barca" belongs to the work for piano "Impresiones íntimas" by Federico Mompou. Period guitarists asked the Catalan composer to write for guitar much earlier than his well-known work "Suite Compostelana" but we only find this arrangement in 1925 published by Regino Sáinz de la Maza.The same work appears to have been played one year earlier in Palau de la Musica - Barcelona by Miguel Llobet in 1924.
