"I wrote this song in 2013 inspired by Vicente Amigo´s song "Roma ". That song and music video did have a big impact on me, and I dreamed of making something similar. But this song became quite different, but both songs use a kind of arpeggio pattern with 6 beats in a bar. The arpeggio pattern in this song is sometimes used in flamenco, I first heard it in the song "Cancion de Amor" by Paco de Lucia. I sometimes also play this song also with violin, bass and percussion in my band, the quartet "Asgeir & Mo". But i figured out that this song suited very well as a guitar duet." Asgeir Aarøen
