Torroba and Segovia met through the impresario Quesada, friend of Torroba and representative of Segovia himself. After Segovia’s request, Moreno Torroba wrote first a ‘Preludio’ for guitar, and afterwards he wrote the ‘Fandanguillo’, to which he added ‘Arada’ and ‘Danza’, composing what is known as ‘Suite Castellana’.
