BWV 1006 Sonata Para violín No.3, Loure (klaus pauli, guitarra)
This is a recording of the 2nd movement taken from the 3nd partita for violin solo written by Johann Sebastian Bach in the year 1720. It was originally written for the violin and to play it on the guitar I just dropped it one octave. Besides the octavion no other changes were made or necassary to play it on the guitar.
This is not the version from the Lute Suite IV (BWV 1006a). This is my transition from the Partita for Violin No. 3 to the guitar. So this is mostly only two voices. Played on a guitar by the italian luthier Gioachino Giussani using a slightly deeper tuning (A=432 Hz). Recorded April 2011.
