Recorded at Gitaarsalon Enkhuizen on 25th Febr. 2013 Estelas by Maurice Ohana was completed in 1974 and was written for the great Uruguayan guitarist Abel Carlevaro.

The piece was in fact never published, although the reason for this is unknown. Ohana later decided to re-use the material in Estelas for Cadran Lunaire (1981-82). Carlevaro premiered Estelas in 1977 in New York and he performed the piece repeatedly in concerts until his death.
