The name of Nikolay Aleskandrov (1818- 1895) is mostly unknown today, but back to the second half of 19th century Russia he was one of the top 7-string guitar figures togather with Andrei Sychra (1773 - 1850) and Mikhail Vysotsky (1791 - 1937). Here are two pieces as an example of how might russian 7-string guitar music sound like: "0:01​ Melody (original key C-major was changed for D- major ) "2:43​ Scherzo (e-minor key remains the same, but the original 'rondo-like' shape of the piece has been changed a bit).
