This Passacaglia by german composer Georg Friedrich Haendel (1685-1759) is taken from Suite No. 7 for harpsichord.

Arranged for two guitars by M-E Leclerc & W McAllister, this interpretation showcases a strong freedom from the original notation ; indeed, all the way through the work, each repeat is enlivened by various embellishments bringing out the improvised nature inherent to baroque music.
